New York -We will no longer run the risk of seeing our iPods or even our iPhones go flat when we are at the beach. The creation of the first solar energy run bathing suit has been announced and it is, of course, called the "Solar Bikini", seeing that the two-piece swimsuit is equipped with small photovoltaic panels linked to a USB port that is also part of the bikini. This invention, which will soon be produced on a large scale, was created by the American designer Andrew Scneider and by New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program. The system works thanks to a very thin layer of film covering the "solar bikini" capable of generating 5 volts of power, more than enough for recharging portable devices. While we wait for the special bikini to flood the markets, its inventors are working on a version for men.
